Hello and Goodbye! Today is going to be a bitter sweet day. I am going home, but I really dont want to leave. Yesterday I visited the Clock Tower, but it was too dark outside to see anything. I also met Mother Teresa. While she was there I took the oppertunity to ask a few questions. The frst question I asked her was; why did you feel led to help others? Her response was; I felt let by God to help others because they needed it more than me. My second question was; how does it feel to win a Noble Peace Prize. HEr response was; it feels great. I am just so blessed to have helped everyone I did. My last question was; If you could go back and change one thing in your life, what would it be? Her response was; Not a thing! I think my life turned out just how God wanted it to be. Today I am going to see the Church of St. Maire and the Shkubim River. Hopefully it won't be long so I can get home fast. I had a great time here in Europe and hopefully I can come back again. So for now, Good Bye from Europe. Thanks for reading this super long blog. I just had so much fun!

Now I am off to Albania, my 4th and last stop.

Day 11: Off to Explore
Yesterday was AMAZING! First, I went to see Big Ben, the large clock tower on the north end of the Palace of Wesminster in London. It's 150 years old, and first ticked on May 31st, 1859. It was crazy awsome to see something i've seen in books, movies, and maganinzes for real. Then i headed over to the London eye, a humongous ferris wheel over London. I saw everything. It was amazing seeing everything from so up high in the air. Tomorrow I am going to see the English Channel. It seperates England and Ireland from the rest of Europe. I might just swim back across, or go under by subway.

Day 10: The Queen and Tea
Hello! Today was great. I had a good night sleep at my wonderful hostel. The Manchester Uninted game was great. They won 2-1! I love soccer. After the game, I went back to London for my tour of the Buckingham Palace. As I was walking through the gardens, I spotted the Queen driking tea. I decided to walk over and say hello! While I was there I decided to ask her a few questions. The first question I asked was; how has life been since the mysterious death of your beloved daughther-in-law Princess Diana? Her answer; it has been ok, we miss her allot but she is happy as a kid in a candy store up there in heaven. My second question was; are you ready to hand over your crown down to Prince William or Henry? Her answer; maybe some day in the near future, but not quite yet. My last question was; how has it been reigning the past 58 years? Her answer; it has been an amazing. I am so blessed to have been able to enjoy this experience.
Meeting the Queen has probably been the most amazng experience on this trip. Tomorrow I am going to visit the London eye, and Big Ben!

Its nearing bedtime, so I best get going. Tomorrow I am taking a tour of the Buckingham Palace and going to a Manchester Uninted soccer game.

Day 9: Aloe,Goddesses, and Goodbyes!
Hello! Thank goodness I have dark skin! My sunburn went away over night. Aloe is like heaven in a bottle. That stuff could cure cancer (not really, but metaphoricaly). Today is my last day in Greece! I had an amazing time. My tour of Mount Olympus is sheduled for this morning, and then im off to the UK! This trip so far has been pretty great. Yesterday was fun. Walking around the little town remined me of home, even thought home is nothing like Greece. I made friends with some locals, got some fresh fruit and vegetables, and packed up my backpack. These are the last few days of my trip. I am excited to come home and tell all my stories, but I don't want to leave.
Last night, when I was brushing my teeth, it seemed like someone was out on my balcony singing. So I walked out there and low and behold Aphordite, goddess of love, was sitting on the railing. I couldn't believe my eyes. While she was there and I had not met anyone important in Greece yet, I thought I might ask a few questions. The first question I asked was; why are you known to be so ill-tempered? Her response; Because I never had any childhood to learn how to share or how to help others, not just my self. My second question; why did you intoduce Helen of Troy to Pairs? Her response; because they seemed perfect for each other, her being so beautiful and him so muscular. My last question; why are you so attracted to Ares if he is such a violent man?
Her response; because theres just something about bad boys, and Hephaestus is so BLAH!
I had a great time in Greece going to the Parthenon, Milos Beach, Mount Oylmpus and meeting Aphordite.
Hopefully the Uninted Kingdom will be just as much fun

Day 8: Burnt to a Crisp but still movin'
Hello! Yesterday didn't turn out too well. I planned on getting a tan, not a burn. I put on tons of sunscreen but it didn't help. I look like a lobster fresh from the sea. I planned on going to Mount Olympus today but due to my severe sunburn I have re-scheduled it for tomorrow. Today I am going to walk around the little towns in Athens and learn some cultures from the natives. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. With some aloe and a nice nap im sure things will clear up.

Day 7: Relax and get a TAN!!
Hello. Yesterday was an interesting day. The Parthenon was crazy cool. Seeing something that old that is still in contact is amazing. It was beautiful. The Delphi was just about the coolest thing I have ever seen! It used to be known as where Heaven and Earth met. It over looks the mountains, and is amazing. It belonged to Zeus' son Appollo. I also did a little shopping. There isn't much shopping in Greece but whatever there was i'm sure I did it. Today I am spending all day on Milos Beach. I have been non-stop this whole trip, and vacations are for relaxing aren't they? I'm very excited to work on my tan! Well now im off to the beach.

Day 5: Goodbye France, Hello Greece
Bonjour! Today is my last day in Paris, France. I got so caught up in all the beauty here, I forgot there were other cities in France. Whoops! Yesterday was crazy. I got to see the Paris Disneyland, which was extravagant. I had a great time. I spent most of they just walking around and taking everything. I also learned how to say, "Hi, my name is Sydney and I'm from the United States. Its Salut mon nom est Sydney et je suis des États-Uninted.I did a little shopping, and called home to see how everyone was doing. As night rolled in, I went back to the Regent and freshened up from my long day. Then I met some friends also visiting Paris for escargot or snail. Then we all went to the Eiffel Tower together. It was breathtaking. At night when everything was light up. I am proud to say I can now cross that off my bucket list. Today I am visiting the Swiss Alps and then getting on the Euro rail to go to Greece.

Day 4: Remy and The Eiffel Tower
Bonjour! The Chateau de Versailles was b-e-a-utiful. Everything was so big and old yet delicate and beautiful. This trip is really turning out great. So far I have seen most of the Atlantic Ocean, the Musee de Louver, the Arc de Triomphe, and an amazing fashion show. I also met Remy the famous rat chef at Gusteau's. I didn't have much time with him but I did have enough to ask him three questions. The first one was; what is your favorite dish to cook? Remy said it was Ratatouille. The second question was; do you ever miss your family back home? He said he misses them allot but he really like the city, his friends, and his job. The last question was; If you could go back in time and change one thing, what would it be? Remy said he would have come to Paris and started cooking earlier; he loves to cook and bake all the time. I am so blessed to have met this little mouse. He also gave me some help with my cooking skills.
Today I am visiting the Eiffel Tower. I am overwhelmed with excitement. I have always dreamed of coming here and now I finally am. I am also going to visit Disneyland in Paris. How cool is that? Well I better get going because it’s going to be a long day.

Day 3: Off to the Gardens
Bonjour! Yesterday was great. The Louvre was so beautiful! I saw much artwork I've seen before, but never in person. The Arc de Triomphe at night was just amazing. Shopping also went spectacular. Name brands from here are so much more expensive at home. Today I am going to visit the Chateau de Versailles. King Louis XIV built it 1682 and it has yet to be remodled. I am very excited for my backpacking adventure of the day. I am also going to meet Remy the chef from Ratatoullie and his friend Linguini at Gusteau's.

Today I am visiting the Musee de Louvre. The Louvre contains more than 34,000 paintings. I am so excited to go because I love museums and artwork. I am also going to see the Arc de Triomphe, and do some shopping. Maybe even a fashion show. Paris is known for their famous fashion designers like Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior. Tomorrow I am going to see the Eiffel Tower! Well ta-ta for now!

Day 1: Trip Across the Atlantic
Today is the first day of my 14-day backpacking trip across Europe. I woke up at 5 to re-check my back to make sure I had everything I needed before i left. I left for the Charlotte Douglas Airport at 7 for my flight at 9:45 am. I ate breaskfast and read a book about Paris, France; my first destination in Europe. The flight left right on time, and flew straight to Boston, one of the connecting cities. Then, from Boston we left for Reykjauik, Iceland. Finally, from Reykjauik we left for Paris. Once we got there, I had been in airports and airplanes for more than a whole day.. As I am blogging, I am sitting in an internet cafe on the way to my hostle. So far the city looks beautiful, even in the dark. It's getting late and I need to find my hostle. My adventures in France begin tomorrow and I need a good night's sleep.
